Richmond Chamber Choir was formed in 1968, and has been delighting audiences in Richmond and further afield ever since. The choir performs 3-4 concerts a year, and delight in a wide-ranging repertoire. Previous programmes have included 'Shakespeare in Song', 'Father Thames', 'The flowers appear on the earth', 'A Patchwork Requiem' and encompass 1000 years of music in a range of styles. 

The choir is based at St John the Divine, Richmond, but perform all over the borough, including at St Anne's, Kew, St Mary's Twickenham, Normansfield Theatre, Teddington and Duke Street Baptist Church. The choir has also represented Richmond through its twinning with Fontainebleau in France, and Konstanz in southern Germany. 

To celebrate the choir's 50th anniversary in 2018, the group performed a number of popular larger-scale events, and the choir regularly raises money for charity. Their current Musical Director is Alexander Turner. 

The choir rehearse on Thursday evenings, 7:30-9:30 at St John the Divine (Kew Road, Richmond TW9). The church is a stone's throw from Richmond Station. Find out more about how to join here
